No child should have to live a life defined by disability and lost dreams.
In many parts of Africa, childhood involves more than just the challenges of disability; it involves neglect—especially when you are different.

Samuel is twelve years old and lives in a slum in Uganda.
A high fever when he was three changed his life forever. His mother carried him on her back for hours under the scorching sun to reach a clinic, but by the time they arrived, it was too late. The fever had caused permanent brain damage.
From then on, while other children learned to run, Samuel could only lie on the ground, inching himself forward with his hands
Whenever he went outside, he dreaded the way people looked at him.
He rarely spoke or smiled. When we asked him what his greatest wish was, he didn't ask for toys or food.
Lowering his head, he whispered:
"I want to play soccer with the other kids."
But the reality is that whenever laughter drifted from the soccer field, he could only watch from afar. Because no one wanted to include him in the game.
Instead, his daily worry was simply whether he would get a meal.
In many parts of Africa, disability does not mean "special needs"; it means being hidden, abandoned, and forgotten.
Over a billion people live with disabilities, and tens of millions of them are children. They are not just statistics; they are lives slowly fading away in silence.
Yet, Samuel holds onto a dream: "When I can walk, I want to play soccer." He doesn't need a miracle. He simply needs a pair of crutches, legs that allow him to stand, and a chance to run.
He doesn't need a miracle; he just needs crutches, a meal, and access to school.
Your help can provide:
• Mobility aids such as wheelchairs, crutches, and prosthetics
• Education and community support tailored for children with disabilities
• Skills training for parents to bring hope back to families
• An end to discrimination so these children can be seen
• Food, clean water, and safe spaces
❤️ Give him the chance to stand tall.
You aren't just saving a distant statistic; you are deciding whether Samuel can step out of that village.
